The 2024 season for LARGA (Men) begins May 6 at Widder Station. The rest of the schedule can be seen in the section marked SCHEDULE. Note that at the time of this being posted, the schedule was still being finalized. We are expecting to add St. Clair Parkway, Camlachie, Black Creek, and Hidden Hills soon. Check back for updates. The Lambton Area Retiree’s Golf Association is a group of golfers that meet for a relaxing, social golf game at one of many Lambton County golf courses. Although many members have organized their own foursomes, singles are welcome to join - we will find a group for you to join for that day. As a single, you’ll meet and play with other retiree golfers each week - perhaps meeting a new group each week, or settling into a regular foursome. You’ll have the opportunity to play a variety of Lambton County courses throughout the golf season. Like last year, prices will vary from course to course. One big change is that the cost of the cart and taxes is included in the cost as we didn’t see any walkers last year. Click JOIN in the menu to sign up with LARGA. We encourage everyone to join LARGA through the website so that we have an accurate e-mail address. We use your e-mail strictly for sending you notices regarding matters pertaining to LARGA (e.g. Notice about how and when the season starts). Registration costs $20 which pays for the web site, printing, bank fees and other items. We hope you enjoy your membership with LARGA, and perhaps develop new friendships in the process. The section titled INFORMATION gives you the information on how to attend events. Note: We need a treasurer!! The task basically entails depositing cheques and cash, overseeing payments to the courses and other items, and making a few reports to the executive on the finances.
